Brad Drader
Secondary Math and Science Teacher
I was born and raised on a farm in central Alberta south of Camrose. After getting married, I moved into this area in 1989 and began my teaching career in Drayton Valley in 1992. I have worked in a variety of educational capacities in Drayton Valley since then.
I have been married for 36 years and have 2 grown children. I have a strong musical background and enjoy sharing my love of music with my students. I love nature and outside activities, including camping, hiking and a variety of outdoor winter or summer sports.
I am very excited to have the opportunity of working at the ‘Roots of Resilience Charter School’. I have a deep passion of making connections with students and helping them find success within themselves and their learning. I am looking forward to learning about ‘Indigenous Ways of Knowing’, and incorporating new techniques into my teaching Practice.
