Amanda Murdock

Tansi, my name is Amanda Murdock. I am a proud mother of eight awesome kids and a grandma to two handsome grandsons. I started my teaching career five years ago and have always had the dream of becoming an educator. I hold two degrees; a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education. I will also be receiving my Post-Baccalaureate diploma in October. I love learning. I came across Roots of Resilience through my classmates who attended their field experience there. I was instantly inspired by the way the school is focused on learning through Indigenous ways of knowing and being. I am thrilled to be apart of such a great meaningful school family. I believe that the mino-pimatisiwin “living the good life” is meant to be especially when Creator puts greats opportunities in our path.
