Deb Wigmore

Bus Driver

I’m Deb Wigmore, I am excited to be joining the amazing team at Roots of Resilience Charter School. I am very happy to be driving bus and making sure each and every child is taken care of safely and with utmost care, respect, and compassion.

I was born and raised in Drayton Valley, near Violet Grove. Growing up on a farm instilled in me a deep appreciation for love, family, a strong work ethic, respect for the land, and fundamental life values. I am a graduate of Frank Maddock High and have held various positions within the community.

It is a pleasure to share that I am married and have two sons, who have blessed us with three wonderful grandchildren. We have also been raising our great-niece and nephew for nearly nine years, and we are eagerly anticipating their growth and success as they begin this new chapter at Roots of Resilience Charter School.

With over 23 years of experience, I have had the privilege of driving a school bus. Furthermore, I hold a Class 1 license and have accumulated numerous hours behind the wheel, transporting oilfield products throughout central and northern Alberta. I have also provided propane delivery services to both residential and commercial clients, spanning from Cadomin to the east of Red Deer.

I am very fond of camping and spending time in nature, enjoying activities such as fishing, hunting, and gathering firewood in preparation for the winter season. I am also enthusiastic about beginning this new phase of my life with Roots of Resilience Charter School and eagerly anticipate learning more about its culture and the various opportunities it presents.
