Elder Theresa Strawberry is Cree/Ojibway from O’Chiese First Nation, 30 minutes west of Rock Mountain House, AB. She is a proud grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 3. Theresa is an Elder Advisor at the Edmonton Institute for Women. She provides cultural awareness and education to the public, always having a great deal of respect for many people of different backgrounds and of all faiths.

She shares her personal and professional experience to send a strong message of empowerment. The past, present, and future can be measured in the strength of our resilience to move forward.
